I think it is important to inject some brightness and colour to your wardrobe during autumn just to break from the all-over greyness surrounding you.
There is something extremely uplifting about adding bright elements and breaking the monotony with colour. During my mini-break this autumn in Amsterdam, I followed this rule to the tee. It was, quite shockingly, raining, grey and dark but adding bright elements and a plethora of layers not only kept me warm but sane as well.
Coat: French connection, Dress: Asos, Shoes: H&M, Tights: Primark, Scarf, Gloves and Umbrella: Brought in Amsterdam, Earrings: Barcelona, Backpack: TK Maxx, On the lips: Rebel by Mac.
Moral of this story: Don’t be afraid to use bright colours during autumn/fall. It is uplifting and can add a dollop of personality to your AW wardrobe.
