Glammy Glam

There is nothing more glamorous than cat eyes and red lipstick. This look for me is the ultimate in sophistication and glam. If you are struggling how to get the cat eye right; here is my easy way out.

For the eyes, I have used Mac’s Fluidline Gel Liner in Blacktrack. With an angle brush, I have taken a wee bit of the liner. I first made a thin line starting from the inner corner of my eye; it is easier to build up on a thin line rather than going the other way round. After slowly extending it till the other end, I have made a small line extending from the lower water line. Then you make a “V” connecting the upper and lower line.  You can keep your lower line as it is or use a thin flick with a kohl. I have used Maybelline Eye studio Master Smokey in Black. To finish the look I’ve used Rimmel Scandaleyes Retro Glam Mascara. You can use false eye lashes but I much prefer the natural look :).

For the lips, I have used Revlon Red, one of the best red lipsticks out there that gives you just the right amount of oomph. To keep my face fresh, I have used a wee bit of Maybelline Baby Skin Primer before applying Carita’s sublime radiance veil foundation. Seal the look with some powder and apply some colour to your cheek bones. I’ve used Bodyshop’s All-in-One Face base and Baked to last blush.

I rarely use so much make-up but of course there are days when every girl needs to feel extra glam and this look is definitely my go-to look for those special days. 🙂
