I do consider myself a truly Global person. But once in a while, I don’t mind going back to my Indian roots.
The Anarkali is a long, full-skirted dress that you wear over Churidar i.e. legging like trousers. A matching long scarf is added to most ensembles.
I’ve accessorized it with simple jewelry like statment earrings, bangles and a cocktail ring because sometimes you should let the outfit speak for itself.
The beauty of this outfit is that it has a touch of an ethnic appeal yet looks quite modern. A win-win situation at least for me.
Dress: Mum’s gift, Pouch bag: MIL’s gift, Shoes: Marks and Spence (old, flat option here), Statement earrings: Debenhams, Bangles: H&M.
