For as long as I can remember, I have faced a major dilemma: What do I love the most? Is it traveling or fashion? Is it books or cinema? Is it fiction or poetry? Is it food or fitness? Unfortunately, even today I am unable to pick just one and make it my only love. So I decided to have a platform where I can combine all these loves and live happily ever after.

I am a curious wanderer, perpetual dreamer, a hopeless romantic, an occasional poet, a filter Kaapi (Coffee) drinker, an impulsive shopper, a dress, accessories, junk collector, a phenomenal woman (I have a tattoo by that name), a good food eater, a voracious reader, a film addict all rolled into one. This blog talks about all these things.

I am a new mum currently working as a freelance writer and copywriter. I am also studying the NCTJ journalism course. However, before child I was working as an editor and writer. I was responsible for building the brand for two start-up magazines– Asian Global Impact and Bright Woman Magazine. I am passionate about writing, researching, journalism and photography.

This blog is self-funded unless otherwise mentioned. All images are taken by my better half, best friend and provider of health and wealth–Jithin Sankar. I maintain the copyright for all images and text.

Finally, thank you for stopping by. If you like what you see please subscribe me I promise you will not regret the ride.

  1. Hi,

My name is KC Owens, I’m a college student and I love to travel! While cruising the Internet, I found your site and really enjoyed reading your posts. I have been to countries all over Europe with just my backpack and a camera. Since I am a college student and I have significant bills, it can be difficult to find ways to travel the world. However, I have done this several times, with less than ten pounds of luggage and while on a college dime!

I was hoping that you would allow me to write a post for your site to share my tips and tricks with your readers. I put a lot of time into my traveling, it is my biggest passion and I would love to inspire others by sharing my stories, mistakes and triumphs. I look forward to hearing from you!

    Best,

    KC Owens

  2. It takes great honesty to share the “voices in your head” in such a beautiful and creative writing style. I am glad you visited my blog, so I can get introduced to yours.

  4. loved how you’ve put it all together and so happy to see someone who thinks alike. Often people talk about choosing a niche and sticking to it and no matter how much I have tried to sort of put a tag and say that may be I’m only interested in photography every time there is a new movie or may be that latest song my mind is equally lovin it 🙂 Finally see someone who says its ok to like a lot of things 😀
also, i’m a big time kaapi drinker too hehe.
Great to have finally found your blog.
    Sending you much love,
    A.D!

    • Hi Yes, I was toying with the idea for a long time and then I decided to go with what I like the best. I wanted to create a common platform which has everything from culture to fashion all in one go so the blog was thus born 🙂

  5. Hi Dhanya, nice to meet you. Your name reminds me of dhanyavad, one of the few words we learned in Hindi while we were in India. Every country we go to we at least learn how to say hello and thank you!
Thanks for following our blog. I hope you enjoy the stories of our journey, both inner and outer. And don’t be a stranger – feel free to join the conversation.
