What’s Christmas party season without the quintessential Little Black Dress?
I love a dress that can take me from work to party in no time. And who can resist a bit of peplum?
Dress: Debenhams (old, similar here), Statement necklace: Zara (old, options here), Snake print pumps: Marks and Spencer, Bag: Osprey London (similar here), Lips: Mac Up the Amp, watch: Tissot, earrings: from Barcelona
Nothing spells effortless holiday glamour than the LBD and that’s why it is my go-to style this season.
Every girl should have the perfect pick-me top that not only perks her mood up but goes with practically everything in her wardrobe.
This heart print shirt fits the bill perfectly for me. The tiny little hearts featured on this elevates my mood instantly (true story!). The heart print has been doing the fashion rounds ever since Victoria Beckham wore Burberry’s burgundy heart number this September. Needless to say, it became an instant hit.
Shirt: Debenhams ( similar here), jeans (from first look): Dorothy Perkins, Pumps (from first look): Dune, Bag: Osprey London via TK Maxx, Skirt: Marks & Spencers, Booties: New look via Asos
I’ve paired the shirt with a skirt as well as black skinnies proving how versatile certain things can be. It is subtle enough to be worn for work yet fun enough for after work. A win-win situation, don’t you think?
This winter I’ve developed a new obsession: (faux) fur.
There is nothing more versatile than a fur jacket: simple yet a statement piece.
Faux Fur Jacket & Shoes: H&M, Skirt: Hobbs, Knit top (underneath): Vero Moda, Tights: Primark, Earrings: From Barcelona, On my lips: Mac Rebel
I confess I am happily hooked. So tell me have you already dared this trend or would you be braving it any time soon?
Skirt: Asos, Top: H&M, Shoes: New Look, Bag: India, Dancing girl necklace: Barcelona, Shades: Oscar Del a Renta
What can be better than a pleated skirt? A pleated skirt in sheer with dip hem details. Romance personified
Despite being a fashion and style lover, I’ve actually never really liked the quintessential Little Black Dress. Did you just gasp because of my style confession? To be honest I’ve always thought that the LBD is tad boring.
But I always keep an open my mind and I am more than ready to do new things to broaden my horizons. So here I am. When I saw this little black wrap dress with balloon sleeves I knew it cannot be turned town. Moral of this story: interesting details can really up the ante of any outfit.
Dress: Asos, Clutch: Next, Heels: Clarks, Earrings: Swarovski, Necklace: H and M, Bangles: India, Lips: Bodyshop Ruby Sparkle
I’ve added small dark pink earrings and bangles as well as blush pink statement necklace and rose gold heels for more pizzazz. A dash of red lipstick plus black kohl and you are ready to be a drama queen up for any theatrics.
