Who would have ever thought that a utilitarian one-piece garment used by skydivers and parachuters  would one day become a sartorial necessity packed with punch and oomph? Puzzled? I am talking about the jumpsuit, of course.

There is something so effortless and chic about this one piece and black means it is a great canvas and can be styled in hundred different ways.

The fact that it can be dressed down for work or up for play only makes this style so much more irresistible to me.

Here I’ve paired my black jumpsuit with gold accessories and a sparkling clutch to keep it simple yet chic. So, this holiday season if you want to try something other than the LBD give the black jumpsuit a chance. You will love it, I promise.

Is it too early to spread the Christmas joy??

Clearly, I don’t think so because why wait to start spreading happiness??

This Christmas season, I definitely cannot get enough of these bright Christmas beauties that fully encapsulates the season’s joyous spirit. I am hooked, are you?

Off-duty ensembles should be part-comfy, part-sassy, part fun-part classy, cool enough to be hot.

I like to keep it simple with neutrals but sass it up with bold colours and accessories. Best of both worlds, would you say?

Autumn fashion

After pleasantly surprising us with a great summer; it seems the cold and grey British weather is back with a vengeance.  Whilst I am sad that I am breaking-up with my summer outfits (rather unceremoniously); I am definitely a tad bit happy that the layering season is finally begun. A boxy, furry gilet is an easy way to layer and spruce up your AW wardrobe. It can keep you warm yet doesn’t weigh you down like a bulky winter-jacket plus it has a rock “n” roll edge to it.

For a casual-day look, I’ve paired my faux fur gilet with an oriental print light cardigan, black skinnies and a hat. Although I rarely like to go matching-matching; here I’ve matched my slightly mannish shoes in brown ( a must-have for  accessory for AW-13) with the gilet’s brown belt. A hat and a red bag ( for a pop of colour) and I am all set for autumn.

There’s nothing more cosier than an over sized outerwear and comfortable skinny jeans–perfect for an autumn day. Don’t you think?

When all else fails; throw in a trusty jacket over a pair of black skinnies (or anything) for an effortless look. A Pinstripe jacket like this one is a wardrobe hero that can elevate any look. Tucked-in hair, showcased on the catwalk at Mulberry, will add an element of mischief.  Perfect for days when you really have to get ready in under five minutes.
