The Chic Worker

Fashion and comfort rarely go hand in hand. But when I am travelling, comfort becomes the biggest driving factor. Sure, jeans paired with eye-catching T-shirts and shoes is the most conventional way of travelling but my conventions have always been a bit unconventional.

As you probably already know I rarely shy away from experimenting. So, I opted for these super-comfortable pajama-style trousers as opposed to jeans. In any case, how “experimental” can one get in one of the fashion capitals of the world?

I love a good underdog story; even when it comes to clothes and this trouser perfectly fits the bill. It is comfortable yet with oodles of attitude. I’ve paired it with a simple vest, a hat and gladiator sandals. I’ve tied a Chambray shirt around my waist giving my seal of approval to the 90’s grunge style which is making a strong comeback (plus Europe’s weather is unpredictable and its best to carry some sort of layer always).

So who says comfortable has to be boring? With wee bit of imagination you can make even “comfortable” fashionable and ensure that you never have to travel in discomfort.

For me, airports are a  favourite spot to people-watch and strut around in style. While traveling, I always opt for low-maintenance comfort that packs a punch.

A soft knitted top, comfy jeans, shoes and a hold-all bag is my favourite go-to look. A knit fabric can help you to deal with the brisk temperature of the aircraft preventing your skin from becoming dry.

And what if you are traveling to (or from) a colder climate? Simple, layer yourself in some warm numbers.
