Blogging with a demanding infant is certainly one of the biggest challenges I am facing at the moment. I was hoping to do this outfit post/shoot ages ago but something or the other kept me busy.

There are days when the sheer of cycle of feeding, cleaning, soothing her leaves me exhausted to the core. So exhausted, that getting dressed up and going out somewhere to do a shoot is the last thing in my mind. Some days getting even ten minutes all to myself seems like an impossible task and if I do I would rather sleep more. But seeing my little one grow (each day) is the big reward I get at the end of it all. And when she recognizes me and gives me a knowing smile; tiredness is quickly forgotten and I end up marveling at this little human being that I (with a little help from hubby 😉 ) created.

Back to the outfit. Pastels are my perennial favourite—pastel shades are feminine, fun and versatile. Here, I’ve paired a pastel green dip hem top with black leggings .A simple outfit perfect to enjoy a day out  with your little one.  I’ve added a tribal style statement necklace to give this simple ensemble some oomph.

Sixty three days postpartum my body is slowly, steadily but surely coping up with the challenges of Motherhood and that for me is the silver lining. 🙂

As I enter my 23rd week; it is finally a trip down the maternity section. My blooming curves definitely need more room and a bit of flow. A tunic style top has become my favourite–its super comfortable and can be dressed up or down. I have also added some sensible yet fun footwear to my wardrobe because let’s face it–pregnancy does things to your balance and when you are carrying a little person inside you, it is best to exercise caution.

White is my perennial favourite, this colour can never go wrong for me. A tunic is best suited with a fitting bottom. So, here I’ve paired it with skinny maternity jeggings. I have also added a long necklace for elongating my torso and a bright, magenta heels for  added oomph.
